Present  Michael Owen                         ChairpersonCharles Mortlock                    SecretaryKim Owen                              Child Protection OfficerErlys Hayes                             Treasurer         Nyree GriffithBethan TillLyndsay Rigby Appologies  Gordon Hayes                         Technical advisorElen HughesDavid Parry Treasurers report The account is £1826 in creditForthcoming expenses:Estimated £300 for new trolleys for the judo mats as the two existing trolleys are becoming overloaded. Forthcoming visit to Southport: Accommodation £390, mat fees £8 per person total is £580 remaining £1246After yearly anticipated expenses there will be £676 remaining Presently the club pays the mat fees for these students; agreement was carried that if numbers expand significantly then this policy will be reviewed. CRB checks The ongoing CRB process will be continued and incorporates all Instructors and assistants. Action KJ & EH Judo activities  It was proposed and agreed that we should hold a club championship twice a year, dates and times to be included in next years calendar.Action MO The club will aim to attend the forthcoming Lancashire championship on Sat 13 September, letters for expressions of interest to be disseminated in due course.Action MO It was proposed and agreed that we should hold three gradings a year, dates and times to be included in next years calendar.Action MO Club Visits It was proposed and agreed that the club will host a visit from Chorley Judo club on Sat 6th September. During the day there will be a training session and followed by a social event in the early evening on the Saturday with a possible organised outdoor activity for all on the Sunday. Action EH & NG First Aid courses Charles Mortlock will attend a first aiders course being held at the Bull Inn Llangefni Sunday 7th September 1000 to 1600 Recruitment strategy Attention was drawn to recruitment of new members particularly the 14 to 17 yrs age range. Charles Mortlock and Bethan Till agreed to examine this issue and to report back on proposals to address this.Action CM & BT Mat fees Mat fees are to be held for the present at £4 per person with additional family members at half price. We are to continue with payment in advance at the start of the half term. End of meeting.
