Club Visit to Tamworth - General Judo Course A team of 6 visited Tamworth last week. A fantastic course led by Sensei Otani. All participants were sucessfull
at their grading with Sensei Mike being rewarded with his 2nd Dan. Well done to all.

Ynys Mon Sports Awards 2009 We came away with three awards. Menai recieved the runner up award in the girls sports person of the
year. teh team took the runners up for the team event and ... Sensei Mike & Eirlys were recognised as the best
coaches for 2009

Congratulations to Menai and
Rhianna for thier excellent achievement of winning Gold Medals at the recent event. Jack also had an outstanding day against
some tough opposition gainng a Silver medal.

Next Grading December
2009
Primary, junior
and senior club grading will take place at the leisure centre in December. The date and time will be posted very soon.
Also, the plans for our xmas party is in hand and will also be posted very very soon!!
May 10th Grading
The club held it's recent grading in May with a fantastic
turnout. 44 students attended and as a result all participants recieved their new grades.
Highlights of the day include the bouncy castle which was avaliable to Judoka in between contests and the mums
who had a go on the mat.

The club would like to congratulate Scott for his recent grading to 3rd Kuy.
Scott recently attended the BJC National Squad Training - Rawlett Centre, Tamworth and was awarded the grade following
his success on the mat.
